Planning of Interval Workouts

At TRIQ, we incorporate interval sessions into your training plan only once a sufficient weekly training volume is reached. This is defined as

  • > 2hrs/week for running 🏃🏽‍♂️
  • > 3hrs/week for cycling 🚴🏼‍♀️
  • n/a for swimming* 🏊🏼

Below this level of training durations the required fundamental stamina cannot be expected which is - what we believe - needed for endurance sports. Therefore the risk of injuries due to strenuous workouts is too high and therefor intervals workouts will not be planned below those thresholds.
